About this camp

The AI Training: Sights & Sounds camp at Georgia Tech's College of Computing offers middle schoolers an interactive introduction to artificial intelligence. Campers will gain a fundamental understanding of AI concepts by training AI models to respond physically to images and sounds. Activities involve hands-on experiences where participants will train devices to perform tasks such as selecting marbles, sorting blocks, moving eyes, and raising arms, all based on visual and audio input. This camp goes beyond theoretical learning, allowing students to embody algorithms into devices that sense, process, and interact with the physical world. Through programming, training, and testing these devices, campers will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills, preparing them for future technologies.
