Students build adaptive projects on a take-home NVIDIA® Jetson Orin Nano™ and earn an official NVIDIA® certificate, an iD Tech Academy diploma, and a transcript.
The iD Tech NVIDIA® AI and Machine Learning Academy at Georgia Tech offers an intensive, two-week, project-driven experience for teens aged 13-18. Participants will delve into cutting-edge AI and machine learning concepts, integrating Linux and Python coding with machine learning datasets and NVIDIA® hardware. A core activity involves building adaptive projects on a Jetson Orin Nano™ (which students take home), such as image recognition models that can identify objects or track poses. The curriculum emphasizes responsible design, ethical considerations, and the real-world implications of AI, including bias in training data. Students will utilize professional datasets and tools to develop custom models, culminating in a portfolio of unique machine learning projects. The program aims to provide a rigorous, pre-college experience, offering industry insights for those interested in pursuing STEM fields in higher education or as a career. Upon completion, students receive an official NVIDIA® certificate, an iD Tech Academy diploma, and a transcript.
Students spend approximately five hours per day on the computer, engaging in assignment-driven workshops and taking breaks for outdoor and recreational activities.
This academy is ideal for teens aged 13-18 who are passionate about STEM and interested in a rigorous, pre-college experience in AI and machine learning.
