As the official education partner of BattleBots®, iD Tech offers an exclusive learning adventure that combines engineering craftsmanship with the excitement of a robotics championship.
In this BattleBots® Camp with VEX Robotics, campers unleash their creativity in robotics and engineering by building and battling robots. Using the VEX Robotics Design System and C++, students will customize, build, and wire a robot base with their teammates. They will devise custom attachments like a claw arm or battering ram and program their robot to tackle a series of competitions, from time trial races to capture the flag. Campers will explore mechanical engineering principles and learn how the pros build BattleBots® champions. They will optimize their robot's hardware and software between each competition to ensure maximum chance of domination in a BattleBots®-style tournament. The camp culminates in a robot showdown where students apply their learned skills in a competitive environment.
A typical day includes instruction and lab sessions balanced with outdoor activities, campus exploration, and recreational games.
This camp is best for kids and teens aged 10-12 who are interested in robotics, engineering, and competitive building challenges.

Atlanta STEM Summer Camps is a free directory service that aggregates publicly available information about STEM programs, summer camps, and educational opportunities. We do not operate, sponsor, endorse, accredit, certify, or have any affiliation with the camps and programs listed here unless explicitly stated.
All program details — including pricing, session dates, instructor credentials, curriculum, safety policies, refund terms, transportation, meal arrangements, and admission requirements — are sourced from publicly available information and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Listings are partially generated and updated using automated AI-assisted research, which can occasionally produce inaccurate details. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for independently verifying every detail directly with the camp before enrolling, paying, or relying on any information shown here.
