The Georgia Tech Science, Technology, and Engineering Program (STEP) is a hands-on engineering immersion program for high school students. Working in teams, students design, build, and prototype solutions under the guidance of Georgia Tech faculty mentors. The program emphasizes stretching capabilities and challenging students to succeed without a pre-designed solution. At the program's conclusion, teams present their work at a poster session to parents, teachers, faculty, and industry representatives. This experience aims to build confidence and pride, preparing students for future endeavors in STEM fields.
