About this camp

Students at iD Tech BattleBots® Camp with VEX Robotics at Emory University will engineer their own robot champion using the VEX Robotics Design System and C++. The program focuses on hands-on building, wiring, and programming of custom robots. Campers will design unique attachments like claw arms or battering rams and program their robots to navigate challenges such as races, obstacle courses, and capture the flag. The week culminates in exciting BattleBots®-style robot showdowns, where students optimize their robot's hardware and software for maximum performance. Through these activities, students gain skills in mechanical engineering principles, C++ programming, teamwork, and problem-solving, preparing them for future STEM endeavors.
